In one line
Your answers never go to advertisers. We load no ad pixels or trackers.
What we collect
Your email, your quiz answers (including health answers you consented to give), which sessions you complete, payment records from Stripe (never your card number), the ad you arrived from, and technical logs.
Talking to Ease
When you talk to Ease, your phone’s own speech recognition (Apple’s or Google’s, as on any phone) turns your voice into text; we never receive the recording, only the words. The text of your chats is kept in your account so Ease can remember the last few, and sent to our AI provider to write her reply. It is never used for ads. Delete it any time from the Account page (“Forget what I told Ease”); deleting your account deletes it at once.
Why
To build and run your plan, to bill you, to send the emails you asked for, and to know which ads work. Health answers are used only to choose sessions and are never sold or shared with advertisers.
Lawful basis
Contract for the app and billing; explicit consent for health answers and for marketing email; legitimate interest for security and fraud prevention.
Who else sees data
Stripe (payments), Resend (email), ElevenLabs (Ease’s voice: it reads her own lines, never anything you say), Anthropic (writing Ease’s replies when you talk to her), our hosting provider in the EU, and Cloudflare (network). Each under a data processing agreement. No ad networks: we load no advertising pixels or trackers.
Which ads work
If you arrive from an ad, the link carries tags (utm tags, and click ids such as fbclid or gclid). We store them ourselves, with your quiz, to count which ads bring people who stay. We do not send them, or anything about you, back to Meta, Google, TikTok or any other ad network.
Cookies and storage on your device
Cookies: ep_session keeps you signed in; ep_cur remembers your currency; ep_consent remembers your cookie choice. In your browser’s storage: a random id for our own page counts (ep_anon, skipped if you choose “Only essential”); your quiz answers and the ad tags you arrived with, until you close the tab; and small app settings such as whether you have seen the tour. Nothing here is shared with anyone.
How long
While you have an account. When you delete it, your answers, progress and chats go at once, and the rest 30 days later. What stays: payment records and what you agreed to at checkout, kept as the law requires, with no name or email on them; and, if you unsubscribed or an email bounced, your address on our do-not-email list, so we never email you again. Our nightly backups roll over every 14 days, so a deleted account leaves them within 14 days of being removed.
Your rights
Access, export, correction, deletion and objection from the Account page or by email. If you are in the EU or UK you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Marketing email
Only if you ticked the box. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe. Receipts and account emails are not marketing.
